M.HV nwuru ia iriei, Washington, Oct. 27. - Thursday Messrs. Teller and Stewart spoke on the repeal bill. House: Discussion on the bankruptcy bill was resumed when the house convened. Washington, Oct. 28.- In the senate Mr. Peffer's amendment to the repeal bill was taken up and defeated by a vote of yeas, 28; nays, 39. House: No bilis passed, and that body adjourned until Monday. Washington, Oct. 30. - The senate resumed conuideration of the repeal bill Saturday morning. All the amendments offered to the bill were voted down. The house not in session. Washington, Oct. 31.- At 7:26 Monday evening the senate by a vote of 43 to 32 passed the bill for the unconditional repeal of the Sherman silver law. In the house no business of importance was transacted. Washington, Nov. 1.- In the senate no business of importance was transacted. House: The repeal bill was offered for consideration, but the house failed to reach an agreeument.
