Two Annual Publications
There will probably be no unión of independents and fraternities ie the publication of a senior annual this year. The propositions adopted by the independent meeting lasl Friday, were submitted to the several fraternities and rejected b them. The principal reason foi their refusal to join with the independents seemed to beunwillingness to give up the name Palladium, and a desire to obtain representation on the Daily, in addition to concessions already made. The decisión of the fraternities was reported to an independent meeting held yesterday afternoon in Room 24, with the additional assurance that the fraternities would in the course of time present propositions of their own. As there was nr immMiafp of these propositions being submitted, it was decided to proceed with the election of a Castalian board, and leave with the board the determinación of the question of consolidation, if it should again arise. An informal ballot for election of editors was taken, but owing to the expiration of the hour for tneeting no formal vote was taken, and the meeting adjourned until this afternoon at 1:15, at which time a board will be elected.
