The Washtenaw County Teachers Association will hold a meeting in the high school building in this city, Saturday, Nov. 18. An excellent programme for the occasion has been prepared as follows. 10 a. m., soprano solo by Miss Mabel Warner; address by President Whitney, of the Ypsilanti Schools; soprano solo by Miss Jennie Farnham; violin solo by Frank Smith; paper on Drawing for Ungraded Schools by Prof. C. T. McFarlane; solo by Frank Dansingberg. At 1:30 o'clock in the aftérnoon, after music by Miss Lucy Colé, a paper on English Grammarby Supt. W. S. Perry. This will be followed by a duet and then Dr. R. G. Boone, principal of the State Normal school will deliver a lecture. The programme is a strong one and every teacher in the county should be out, especially as the school commissionerannounces that attendance at the association meetings will be taken into consideration in the granting of certificates.
