New York Woman's Press Club

Lotta was elected a member of the Wonian's Press club by acclamation at its first meeting ,of the season. This ia the first time in the history of the club that a meniber has been so elected. Twelve names of applicants f or inembership were handed in by the chairman of the executive committee. Among them were several members of Sorosis and others prominent in literature. Touching tributes were given to the memory of Mrs. Lucy Hooper and to the deceased inembers of the club - Mrs. Margaret Mantón Merrill, Miss Fanny Palmer Tinker and MissEleanor Booker.
