A Thanksgiving Celebration
The Young People's Christian Union will hold a Thanksgiving entertainment Thanksgiving afterooon at 4:15, for their second, third anc fourth ward Sunday schools. It will be a unión entertainment, held in Armory hall, southwest corner of Washington and Main streets. The exercises will be given largely by the classes of the different schools, and are expected to be well executed. The classes have been practicng for some time. Mrs. A. B. Stevens has kindly consented to give some stereopticon views which, no doubt, will highly entertain the children and their parents. Armory hall has been secured, gratis, through the good-will and jenerosity of the Ann Arbor Light nfantry. We would like to cali the attention of the public to this effort of the Union. It is the first of the kind. Ve need help to make it a success. It will be the only thing of the kind given the children of the city this Thanksgiving. There will be a distribution of oranges and candy at the close, to cheer the little ones. Any donation of oranges or candy will be kindly acknowledged. Any contributation, in the way of a Thanksgiving offering, can be taken or sent to Mrs. Junius E. Beal, 31 South Fifth street, or to the president of the Union, B. H. Kroeze, 60 South State street. All contributions should be in by next Tuesday.
