Miss Nettie Mowers entertained her mother one day last week. Miss Hattie Spiegelberg is clerking forW. Schenks at Chelsea. Tnomas McComb and wife entertained friends, Wednesday. W.H. Pearce has opened the winter term of school at North Lake. Charles Schoen eutertained his brother irom Freedom last week. Mr. Kobert Erwin and wife spent Sunday with Webster friends. (ieorge Spiegelberg was in Chelsea on business one day last week. John Freese, of Vassar, is the guest of his father and other friends. Mr. and Mrs. George Page spent Thursday with Chelsea friends. II. W. Newkirk and family spent Sunday with her father at Birkett. Mrs. R. P. Copeland is spending a few davs with her son at Bay City. Mrs. H. Bossoh, of Chelsea, has been visiting her parents for a few days. Miss Hinchey spent the first of the week with her parents near Anderson. A. Voorhis and wife entertained a nuinber of their Lima friends, Friday. Miss Allie Bennett starts in a few days to spend the winter in California. Mr. and Mrs. O. Vaughn and children spent Sunday with his parents in Webster. Mrs. Wm. Bell, of Bunker Hill, visited lier brother several days of tlie past week. Miss Mamie Murdoch and mother are visitiug relatives in Saginaw and other places. The Good Templars will give a geograpby social at their hall Friday evening, December 1. Those on the sick list are Mr. Calkins, Mr. J. Bennett, J. Croarkin and family, and S. Preese. F. Vanriper and daughter, of Fowlerville, were entertained by Dexter friends the past few days. Married, Tuesday evening, Nov. 21, at the home of the bride's parents in Dexter township, Dr. Josephine Fleming and Dr. Ohilds, of Chicago. They will reside in Chicago.
