His Bail Increased

Kalamazoo, Dec. 4.- Stonewall J. De France is still in jail, and wül probably stay there until Dec. II, the day set for his appearance in the circuit court. he having been held for trial. His bail was üxed at 815,000, and his attorneys claim it is excessive to such an extent as to be unconstitutional. The defense put no testimony in at the exarnination, althouh they objected to his beinii bound over without the testimony of the compi nriing witness, J. K. Wagner, whoni the people would not put on the stand, claiming that his testimony would be simply cunmlative.
