On Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, Mme Adelina Patti will sing at tbe Auditorium, in Detroit, under the auspices of Marcus E. Mayer, of New York in companywith the. strongest array of artists that lias appeared in Detroit in a decade. Mme. Patti's unequaled brilliancy of i vocalization will be shown jn "üna voce,'; from "II Barbiere," wfcieh she will sing m the miscellaneous concert program. She will also appear in the second act of "Lucia di Lammermoor " which will be given with a fine cast ïncluding Mme. Fabbri, Durward Lely and ïMgnor Novarra, and with costumes, scenery and grand orchestra feJM.cting.ti this act L""=; "u smgs "i-lie L,ast Rose of Suminer," and as ahe is always so gracious in the matter of encores she wil] doubtless also be heard iu "Home oweet Home." ' At the Detroit concert the prices of admission will be only $1, $2 and $3 vvhereas elsewhere iu the east the I tanö has been $2, $3 and $5, this price can only be asked in the placs where the seating capacity is so extensive as m the auditorium.
