The large boot and shoe emporium conducted by the above firm reflect credit upon the management and proves a desirable trading center for everything in its line. Messrs. Doty & Feiner are old shoe men and are acquainted with every phase of the business. The reputation of the house for honorable business methods, good goods and reliable representatives passes current among customers, who feel unlimited confidence in the integrity of the firms. A large trade has favored their efforts to please and benefit the public and we rejoice at their merited success. Mr. Doty carne to Michigan, from his native city, Rochester, N. Y., in 1836. -He is one of our leading citizens and his large trade s a measure of his popularity that bas received recognition in a public wáy by his fellow citizens electing him to various positions of public trust. Mr. Fginer is a Germán by birth but came to Ann Arbor away back ir! 1856 and began the manufacture of shoes. He is an lionorable business man, and is ever willing to give his weight to any public measure that will enchance the prosperity of the people of Ann Arbor. The full confidence and esteem of the public is directed to this house and insures its continued success as a Ieading mercantile enterprise.
