Richards and farnily have moved to Oklahatna. Chas. Robison is home from London for the vacation. Wesley Robison is in the picture f raming business. Dr. J. C. Harper visited Toledo, ïhursday and Friday. Mr. and Mrs. M. Barnes entertained guests Monday evening. ■ The Baptist Sunday school have a fine program for Ohristmas. Prof. Dentiison is visiting friends in Ypsilanti, during his vacation. Miss M. A. Palmer and Mrs. Clark visited Ann Arbor, Wednesday. Mr. E. Doersam will open a saloon in the Babcock block, on Tolen St. Mrs. Talmer and family entertained guests from Dundee, over Sünday. Mrs. J. C. Ilarper made a business trip to Detroit, Monday and Tuesday. Miss Xellie "Whaley attended the funeral of Mr. Salsbury, Sunday, near Nora. Notwithstanding the cry of hard times, Milán is dressed in holiday goods. Mr. Smith is uuder arrest for opening his saloon after hours the night of the Ure. C. T. Sill and family will entertain guests from Lansing, Saline and Milan, Christmas. The young people indulged in a select dance at Gay's opera house, Thursday evening. J.H. Ford, who is staying at Mt. Clemens, gave his Milan friends a cali the last of the week. The Presbyterian ladies held tFieir fair Friday and Saturday, afternoon and evening, with good success. J. C. Rouse left Saturday morning for Saline to attend the funeral of his brother-in-law, Cornelius Parsons. The merchants are selling butter for 22 cents per pound, lard for 12 cents per pouud, and eggs for 23 cents per dozen. J. Bordine, of near Milan, lost a harn and contents, a Iiorse and two cows by lire Tuesday night of last week. He was insured. The Chautauqua Chele met at Mrs. }. R.
