Death Of An Aged Minister

IoxiA, Dea 27.- Rev. Alfred Cornell. for nearly 50 j'eara a Baptist clergynian in Ionia county, died of oíd age in nis 80th year. He was born in Madison county, N. Y.. in lHiy. came to Ionia county in 18öü, when a young man, and soon after was ordained as a elergman of the Baptist faith. in which work he continued until oíd age made it necessary to retire him. The Cornell family, of which he was a member, was the second white family to lócate in Ionia. The Dexters came in the spring and the Cornelia in the fall of 1833.
