The German Farmers' Mutual Insurance company of this county, held their annual meeting in the court house yesterday. The old officers were reelected as follows: president, Jacob Reichert, of Scio; vice-president, Jacob Knapp, of Freedom; secretary, Charles Braun, of Ann Arbor town; treasurer, Geo. J. Mann, of Lodi; director, Matt Seegar, of Saline. There were about 75 members present. The losses of the company during the past year were $8,055.62, and the general expenses including interest, $861.72. There was $226,915 new insurance written during the year and $137,480 canceled, leaving a net increase of $89,535. The total amount at risk is $3,675,500. The number of members at present is 1481, an increase of 54 over last year.
