Woman's Suffrage Convention Meets Here

A convention under the auspices of the Michigan Equal Suffrage Association will be held in Newberry Hall, January 15, 16 and 17. Distinguished speakers will be here. Among those expected are Rev. Anna Shaw, Rev. Caroline Bartlett and Lucinda H. Stone, P. H. D. of Kalamazoo. Many of the most capable Michigan women from Detroit, Saginaw, Grand Rapids, Muskegon, Bay City, Battle Creek, etc, will take part in the discussions. This will be the first convention of the kind held in our city and it is hoped by the managers that large audiences Kviü greet those from many parts of the state. Mrs. Emily B. Ietcharn, of Grand Rapids, is president of the association.
