Mrs. Spencer, of Chicago, is visiting lier grandson, M. Dey. Eugene Hill, of Jackson, is in towo visiting relatives atid friends. Henry Xaumann is going to Ypsilanti to attend the business college. Tilomas Rausehenberger and wife, of Ann Arbor, are visiting their soi and . family. Will ïlebfuss and Al. Kiiebler have gone to Ypsilanti to attend the business college. The boys are enjoying the cold weather, and are engaged in skating when not in school. Mrs. Russell has opened a singins; school, which meets every ïuesday at the Germán school building. A "Reading Circle" has beeu organized, with the following officers: President, Rev. Yokum; vice-president, Prof. E. Essery; secretary, Miss Julia Martin; treasurer, MissMargaretBlosser. The young ladies of the Emanuel church held their anuual meeting at the home of the Misses Kirchhofeiiast Thursday evening, and elected the following: President, Julia Schoettle; vice-president, Marie Kirchhofer; secretary, Katie Marx; treasurer, Julia Kirchhofer.
