The Cboral Union will begin work on V'erdi's Requiem nexti Tuesday evening. Professer Trueblood's class in Shakespeare reading have taken upj Romeo and Juliet. Several vacancies on the Wrinkle board will be filled at the board meeting next week. The list of junior laws passing on their records in Pleading and Practice has been posted. Senator McMillan has presented the law departmsnt with two nicely bound volumes of Wharton's Digest of International Law. Regent Levi L. Barbour will be-! gin the course of lectures on Penology before Prof. Adams' course in economie problems next Monday. The sheriff has in his possession a black overcoat which it is thought was stolen f rom a student. The thief is in custody, and confesses to stealing the coat from one of the churches. Prof. Hudson's seminary in European Policy at its meeting Tuesday had the pleasure of listening to an address by Mr. Vlademeroff, a Bulgarian student in the University, who was present at many of the Turkish barbarities in the RussoTurkish war. Mr. F. E. Brimblecom who has filled the position of president, vicepresident, secretary and treasurèr, of the class of '94, was married to Miss Anna Atwood, Stillman Valley, 111., on the 27th of December. Mr. Brimblecom is instructor in Latin and Greek in a Chicago High School. The committee of five in charge of affairs, of the Sophomore class, met last night and organized by tlie elecüon of T. P. Hickey as chairman and J. A. LeRoy as secretary. Plans for a Sophomore social in the near were decided upon and the date will be announced in a few days.
