The January Inlander will be issued sorae time next week. It will be devoted especialjy to athletics. Ralph Stone,law '92, well known for his connection with U. of M. athletics will present ttie subject, "A Policy in Athletics at the U. of M." A series of short stories of famous football plays, entitled "Gridiron Sketches," will be contributed by Manager Charles Baird, W. H. Hutchings and C. B. Smeltzer. A symposium on the present outlook, what is needed and how to get it, will include expressions of opinión from members of the board of control and others interested in athletics. In its other features the number will not be below its usual Standard of excellence. Among the readable articles that will appear are "The Negro in Higher Education," by R. C. Chapman, law '94, "Fraternity Women in the World," by Isabella M. Andrews, and the opening paper in a discussion of dishonesty in college work, by Delos F. Wilcox. Jeanette E. Caldwell will contribute a unique sketch, entitled "An 8:15 Recitation." Among the writers of poerns and verse will be found Harry Carleton Porter, Jesse P. Hornung, Mable Holmes, Maude E, Caldwell, Walter W. Drew, Lewis A. Stoneman and Marión Patton. The attractiveness of the number will be increased by, several illustrations, including a full-page, half tone cut of the new recitation building-
