Miss Ida Silkworth is sick ■ with the mimips and Belle Hardy is teaching ior lier. Airs A. Aylesworth and daughter Lulu visited at Wampler's lake over Sunday. Miss Emma Engel, who has been at home, sick with the mumps, returned toBrooklyn. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Macomber. of j Jack son, are visiting his brother llowarfl, and wife. Mrs. Ben Tracey, of Napoleon, visited her sister Mrs. B. Goodell, a few days last week. During the sickness of Miss Nettie Gillett the intermedíate room is being taught by Miss Julia Kirchhofer. Prof. G. W. Loomis, of St. Joseph, a former superintendent of our public schools, was in town last Wednesday shaking hands with his many triends. Electric lights have been placed across the river, which made it very pleasant for the skaters a few evenings last week, and now they are longing for cold weather.
