The Men Are Satisfied

Connkllsville. Pa., Jan. 15. - The new sliuing scale of the Frick Coke company has been prepared and will go into effect at once. The scale is based on coke at 1.15 per ton and reduces all employés from 10 to 20 per cent, tüe average being 10 1-2 per cent. If coke advanees the wages will be increased accordiugly. The wagée paid under the new scale will be higher than those paid by other coke operators and the uien are satisfied. They expected a reduction of 'ó'S 1-3 per cent. About 12,000 men will be affected.
