Moore is making a trip through Pennsylvania in the interest of the Ann Arbor Agricultural company. Mr. and Mrs. William Wagner left Monday for Topeka, Kansas, where t h 2 i r son-in law, Dr. Peers, is quite ill. Prof. and Mrs. B. M. Thompson entertained the regents and members of the D. K. E. fraternity, Wednesday evening. Bishop Geo. D. Gillespie, of Grand Rapids, left Wednesday evening for Detroit to attend a meeting of the county superintedents of the poor. Mrs. Oliva B. Hall went to Toledo yesterday to attend the twentyfifth annivefsary of a Woman's Suffrage association there. Miss Anthony accompanied her. Miss Bina West, of East Saginaw, great lady lieutenant commander and supreme record keeper of the L. O. T. M., who was in the city Tuesday, started Wednesday morning for a three months' trip to Caliifornia, on official business of the L. O. T. M. George Gunn, of Lansing, was a caller at the Argus office last Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Gunn is a special agent of the Labor Bureau and factory inspector. Mr. Gunn was a prominent candidate for Labor Commissioner at the time of the advent of the Rich regime.
