Jan. 16.- Chairman Mo Creary, of the house coiiinuttee on foreign atïairs, and Representativo Hol man (Dem., Intl.) conferrecl Monday inorning as to the proposition which would be submitted to congress for thp solution for the Hawaiian prohletn. After the talk, Mr. MeCreary said: "Some solution to the question will undoubtedly be ready to submit to the house before Jan. 2St." Representativo Holman aaid: "I will not present my Hawaiian resolution pending my talks with Mr. MeCreary, tor the nierubers of the foreign affairs comruittee are very fairly in tryirig to solve the problem. One thing is certain - that the question of restoring Lilonkalani to the throne is fov all time abandoned. not only in executive. but in congvessional circles. It will never be heard of again."
