.Miss 1 aylor was unable t meet -her classes Tuesday on acco uit of a sudilen illness. Classes in Chemistry termínate their work next week and the time wül be occupied by Astronomy. The literary societies have postponed their programmes for one wek on account of the elodition recital. Rev. Easterbrook. who is iïllitig the pulpit of the Baptist church during january, visited the school last Wednesday. Mrs.TrueBlood's cliss in elocution will give a 'reciial this évening in the high school chapel. These recitals are always entertaining, and as the admission is hut five cents, every one should be present. The program is as tollows: Mi:sto I.
