Whereas, We, the Young Men's Christian League, of Ann Arbor, Mich., having been the recipiënt of a beatiful piano, the gift of Miss Rogers, of Chicago, 111., and wishing to express our earnest appreciation to the generous donor, and to convey to her our thankful accept anee of the same, do hereby adopt the following resolution: Resolved, That the League accept the piano in the spirit that it was given, and as a body of Christian workers do dedicate its sweet melodies to the advancement of Christ's Kingdom in Ann Arbor, tending that God will bless it to His own use and to our spiritual welfare. Resolved, That the League convey to Miss Rogers, the giver, by means of these resolutions, in a deeree at east, the appreciation and genuine ratitude we feel for the gift of this jppropriate and valuable adjunct o oar usefulaess, and that we are not only thankful because of the rioJ we hope to áo with the instrument, but because the lesson which the liberal spirit oí the donor teacUes is one which we as individuals should seek to cultívate and imítate in order that we may fulfil the high missions for which God intended us. Resolved, That ■ these resolutions be engrossed on the records of the League, a copy be sent to Miss Rogers, to whom we are so deeply obligated; and that copies be sent to the city press for publication.
