Mrs. Dr. Harper is on the siek list. Miss Dyke is visiting friends in the country. Mu. Andrews is entertaining guests f rom abroad . Mrs. Chas. Gauntlett is visiting friends in Detroit. Mr. and Mrs. F. Andrus visited friends in Saline Sunday. Mrs. Otto Bennet, of Ann Arbor, was the guest of Mrs. J. C. Rouse, Saturday. The sleigliing is indifferently goqd but cutters, bobs and sleighs "are in great demand. Several of the Milan people attended the Choral Union entertainment' at Ann Arbor, Tuesdav niglit. Married, Jan. 26tli, by Rev. J. O. Heek, Mr. Orris Throopand Miss Minnie Fullerton, both of Milan. Rev. Mr. Stone, of Clinton, has received a cali from the Milan Baptist church and has accepted. He will coninience his work here riext Sunday. Rev. Mr. Bullock, of Saline, assistel in the revival meetings in Milan last week. The good work still goes on. Rev. E. Yager and Evangelist Smith are never tiring workers. Milan has been, ever since Friday, deeply interestcd in the Bank vs. Chase law.suit The end is not yet. Court is held at Gay opera house and is crowded every morning and afternoon. Several of the Milanites attended the reception given by the Ann Arbor Cotnmanpery, 2io. 13, in honor of Sir Knight Rev. M. M. Good win and lady, of St. Luke's Episcopal chnrch. of Ypsilanti, Monday evening.
