Manufacturing Industries
Two business men of Toledo have been here this week to see about organizing a stock company here to go into the business of manufacturing wagon geajrs on a patent, which is claimed allows a wagon to turn around easier in narrow space. They wish $40,000 stock to be placed here. Three meetings of the Business Men's association have been held to see about it, and some negotiations have been going on with the Ann Arbor Agricultural Co. to see about so-me plan for uniting the industries. Nothing definite has yet been decided. The Business Men's association also have a proposition from a gentleman who desires to embark in the business of manufacturing Mackintoshes in the city, which they are looking up. The more manufacturing in Ann Arbor, the better.
