Kalamazoo, Feb. 3.- Giles P. Corey, chief clerk in the Michigan Central i freight office, was to have been married Friday night to Miss Emilie Harrigan, ] an elocutionist and daughter of a well known business inan. All preparations had been made and Corey had even sent his wedding suit to her house. The wedding took place, but to the i astonishment of everybody the bride was Misa Alice Lorraine Westbrooke, a prominent society young lady and i daughter of Dr. M. Westbrooke. Miss I Westbrooke obtained the licenae and called at the freight office tor Corey and the two repaired to the EpiscöI palian rectory where Rev. Ii. R. Clai] borne made them one.
