What carne very near being a triple fatality occurred Friday night about ii o'clock at the oíd Charles Stanley place six miles southeast of this city. Fire broke out in the dwelling and had got so far under way that Mrs. Dolby and another lady living there barely escaped before the rafters feil vvith a crash. Had they remained five seconds longer they would have been buried in ihe ruins. In the meantime John Dolby, the young man of the place, who had given the alarm had thrown a trunk and other things from the window and had come forth from the building when recognizing his nearly nude , condition he rushed back inside for his clotlies and was overeóme by the heat and smoke. He was eventually rescued with difficiilty and is now under the doctor's care. The loss on the building is about íi,ooo with no insurance. - Ypsilanti Correspondence of the Times.
