May Prove Not Guilty

Kalamazoo, Marck 15. - Conductor Foster of the Michigan Central railroad, who was shot by a tramp near Decatur last surnmer, carne here Weduesday and saw George Smith, now in jail on a charge of robbing the railroad velocipede shops. He is pretty sure Smith is the man, as he answers the description. An officer canie from Dowagiac later in the day, bnt conld not identif y Smith positively. Another man from JackBon has been sent for. The man alleged to havo done the shooting is now serving a 10-years' term in the state's prison.
