Vallejo, Cal., Mareta 27.- Late Monday afternoon telegraphic orders were received by Captain Howison, commanding at Mare island navy yard, froin the secretary of the navy direeting tbe United States stearner Mohican and the fftmboat Yorktown to be prepared for sea inunediately. The receipf of this news created considerable stir aruong naval offioers as it was not anticipated that such orders would be proinulgated before April 1_
