Wil! Abbott left town, TuWay, for a fewdays. O. A. Ainsworth, of Ypsilanti, was in town, Monday. Matt. Eogle has moved to Lulu, where he has rented a farm. Mrs. John Hitchingham visited her paren ts in Maybee the latter part of last week. Dan. Hitchingharn has got through sawing lutnber at Bridgewater and has returued home. Misses Lizzie and Christie Lawson, of Detroit, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lowe, Sunday. John Breining passed bis exaniinatiou at Ann Arbor last week, and will teach school the coming season. Mr. Arthur Vealey and Miss Helen Hoe were united in the holy bonds of matrimony on Wednesday evening, at the residence of Charles Wheeler. Squire Bishop tied the knot. John Gotts and Arthur Elliott, slioe and harness makers of this place, have quit the business. Elliott will move to New York, where he will work at bis trade again as harness maker.
