On Trial For Murder

Laksino, March 27.- The trial of Byron M. Brown, who shot and killed M. S. Hendershot, a fellow printer, in a quarrel over a game of poker last September, was commenced in the circuit court Monday afternoon. It was shown by one of the witnesses for the prosecutiou, tfiat Hendershot and nis companions arranged bef ore the game to rob Brown by cheating, and divide the proceeds. Witness Hernley admitted that he took two aces from the table at one stage of the game in order to acquire the coveted four. The case wifl not be fiuished before tomorrow night. The jurors are not permitted to separate and are quartered at the Hotel Downey.
