An Invitation To The Concert

A concert was given at the jail Saturday, the invitation to which was handed out from the cage and proved to be unique. It was as fol lows: "Mr. and Mrs. M. Brenner and friends are respectfully invited to listen to a farewell concert given in Brenner's opera house, Saturday evening, April 7, by the Washtenaw county jai 1 band. "This will positively be the last appearance of this celebrated band here as it has accepted a brilliant offer to lócate permanently at Jackson, Mich. "Refreshments will be served - if possible! "Carriages may be ordered at 9 o'clock sharp, per order James Brown, leader of band."
