TO THE COMMON COUNCIl: Your Committee on Sewers to whom was referred the petition and claim of Ambrose Kearuey.administratov of the estáte oí Kicliard Suppel, for damage íor the death of said Richard Suppel, beg leave to report that they have fully considerad the matter of said petitiou and claim and lind that the city was not in íault and is uot responsib-le or legally liable to pav damage to the said claimant or toanyone for the death oí said Richard Suppel, and we further iind and report that Mi's. Kennedy, in whose behalf said claim was iiled. is not entitled to compensation íor the death of said Stippel in any event. Your eommittee, however, fouiid that Mrs. Kennedy very ]oor and in destitute circumstaucee and is deserving of asslstance, and it wonld be an act oí deserving cbarlty if some suitable provisión could be made lor her, so that in oíd age she would not be let't to suffer, which question your eommittee would reeommend be referred to the uew council.
