Mr. Keene is the last of the great American tragic actors now before the public. Barrett, McCullough and Booth having passed over to the great majority. Mr. Keene is now the only representative on this side of the water whose portrayals of "Richelieu," "Hamlet," "Louis XI," "Shylock," "Richard IIT'and "Macbeth" have met with popular approval. He will present his favorite play, "Richard III," in Ann Arbor Tuesday, April 17.
