B. 8., instructor in inathematics in the University of Michigan, has received the news of his appointment as professor at thfi University of the City of New York wlth a salary of $2.000. Mr. Ladae raduated from the Detroit high school and in the fall of the 6ame year he entered the university, graduáting in 1890. While in the university he gained quite a reputation for matheinatics. Mr. Ladue then entered the law office of Robison & Van Zile and was admitted to the bar in 1892, He is a meinber of the Zeta Psi fraternity.
