Ann Arbor, April 25.- Pomeroy Larlue. B. 8., instructor in inathematics in the University of Michigan, has received the news of his appointment as professor at thfi University of the City of New York wlth a salary of $2.000. Mr. Ladae raduated from the Detroit high school and in the fall of the 6ame year he entered the university, graduáting in 1890. While in the university he gained quite a reputation for matheinatics. Mr. Ladue then entered the law office of Robison & Van Zile and was admitted to the bar in 1892, He is a meinber of the Zeta Psi fraternity.
