Grand Rafjds, April 26.- Charles lacard was taken out for exarnination Wednesday and an immense crowd gathered, hoping to see Prarue, the selfoonfes8ed murderer of Mrs. McKendrick, who it was expected would be introduced as a witness. The only witness was John Stevens of Chicago, who worked on the same dock with Maeard and Prame in Chicago last sninmer. He said that Macard tried to persuade hitn to help hini rob a Michigan woinan who had inoney, but Stevens declined. He knew that Prame went with Macard and saw Prame soon af ter his Michigan visU, and he had a wad of nioney. The exatninution was adjourned until today.
