The strollers, a well known ameteur opera company of New York City, composed of wealthy New Yorkers and numbering among its patrons the highest New York society people will appear in this city at the opera house on Thursday evening, May 17, for the benefit of the Freize Memorial Columbian organ. They make their first trip outside of New York this month and play only in Albany, Troy, Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo, Columbus, Pittsburg, Cleveland, Detroit, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Washington and Phiiadelphia. ín each city they play for the benefit of a local charity. A number of the prominent society people of the city have been asked to be patronesses.
