His Remains At Home
Kalamazoo, May 3. -The remains of the late Senator Stockbridge arrived here from Chicago, accompanied by Mrs. Stockbridge and J. L. Houghteling, the senators nephew, and wife, and S. A. Browne, the late senator's partner of this city, who had gone to meet thein. The city council and alarge concourse (f eitizens were waiting at the Michigan Central depot. The senator's body was taken at once to the beautiful Stockbridge houw in the subnrbs. Fiags vere at halfiuast on the federal and county buildings and on man y private buildings here and the senatnr's tleath is the principal topic of conversation. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternöon at 4 o'ciock from St. Luke's i Episcopal chïirch, followed by interinent iu Mountain Home cemetery.
