Business Man Missing

Menominee, May 8. -Jamea Batte, treaaurer of the Lillie Lumber com i pany, and postmaster of Talbot, this county, has been missing since Wednesday last. He canie to tbis city that day and nothing has since been seen or heard of him. He had about $700 of the company's money. His accounts are straight. It is thought that the man has been ïnurdered by Marinette toughs.
