John V. Sheehan, the well-known bookseller on State street, was married to Mrs. Eddie Margaretta Duckett at the residence of Rev. Fr. Kelly, on Wednesday evening last. Mr. and Mrs. Sheehan took the train for the east immediately after ;ie ceremony and sail tomorrow rom New York for Genoa, Italy, n the steamer Fulda. They will eturn in August, and will be at lome after October ist in their new ïotne on East Huron street. Mr. Sheehan has been regarded forsome years as one of the most eligible of Ann Arbor's bachelors. He has been prominent in business and social circles, and was the last delégate from this district to the Democratie National convention. Mrs. Sheehan has resided here for the past year and is the daughter of Capt. Edwin Miller, of the regular army. She is a descendant of old Virginia and Kentucky families.
