Kalamazoo, May 17.- The grand uommandery Knights Templar of Michigan closed their annual session here Wednesday noon. The inorning session was a trasy one and the outcoiue was very sntisfactory to all concerned. The knights are all loud in their praises of Kalainazoo as a city and of the meuiber of Peninsular coruniandery, whose guests they were for two days. The comniittee on jurisprudence reported. indorsing all the decisions of the grand commander, and the same was adopted. The comniittee on charters inade two reports. both of which were adopted. One advised grantiug a charter to a commandery at Sault Ste. Marie, to be known as Sault Ste. Marie commandery. The other advised restoring the charter to the Fenton commandery, taken away one year ago. J. S. Conover, the committee on the templar dead. was granted permission to report to the recorder and have his report published in the proceedings. The election resulted in the choice of the following officers: Grand commander, Charles H. Pomeroy of Saginaw: depnty grand commander, William E. Jewettof Adrián; generalissimo, Edward D. Wheeler of Manistee; captain general, Albert Stiles of Jackson; grand prelate. Rev. Francis A. Blades of Detroit; senior warden, Francis M. Moore of Marquette; junior warden, Robert B. McKnight of Saginaw; grand treasurer, Charles A. Warren of Detrait; grand recorder, John A. Gerrow of Detroit; grand Standard bearer, Eugene P. Robertson of Albion; grand sword bearer, Riilip T. Van Zile of Detroit; grand warden, Charles R. Hawlev of Bay City; grand sentinel, Alexander McGregor of Detroit. The grand commander appointed the following committees: Tactics and drill - L. D. Harns of Grand Rapids, James Findlater of Detroit and Major Seymour Hovvell of Adrián. To arrange for the biennial conclave - C. H. Pomeroy of Saginaw, Thomas H. Williams of Jackson and P. T. Van Zile of Detroit. The commandery voted to hold the next conclave at Sasinaw next year. Grand Commander Charles fi. Pomeroy was installed by Emineut Grand Master Hngh McCurdy.
