Thomas Slater spent Sunday in Detroit. E. F. Johnson is visiting his farm in Lima, Ohio. Mrs. Frances Seabolt is visiting her brother in Flint. Mr. Charles E. Hiscock went to Frankfort, yesterday. F. J Riggs, Esq., of Detroit, was in the city, Saturday. Samuel Krause has returned from a business trip through the West. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Watts returned from Kalamazoo, Friday night. Miss Minnie Steinbach, of Chelsea, attended the may musical festival. Mrs. E. B. Wood, of Tecumseh, is visiting her sister, Mrs. L. E. Cheever. Mr. Alva Thompson, of San José, California, has been visiting friends in the city. Mr. Thomas F. Whittier, of Saginaw has been visiting in the city for several days. Chas. Wurfel, of Toledo, Ohio, spent Sunday with M. Staebler's young folks. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Smith, of Milan, were in the city to attend the May festival. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Kempf, of Chelsea, were in the city several days last week. Judge and Mrs. Victor H. Lane, of Adrian are visiting their brother, Prof. J. C. Knowlton. Mr. George H. Snow, state editor of the Detroit Evening News, was in the city over Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. H. K. Lum and: daughter left yesterday for their home in Columbus, Ohio. Miss Lettie Miller who has been visiting friends the past week, returned to Detroit last Saturday. Mrs. Matt Blosser and daughter, of Manchester, were the guests of T. J. Keech during the May festival. Mr. Alvin Dodsley and wife of Fargo, North Dakota, are visiting Mr. Dodsley's parents, on Detroit street. Mr. Henry Heim and son Arthur, of Saginaw, visited Mrs. Sophia Hutzel, of West Washington street, during the May festival.
