Suicide At Bay City

Bay City. May 21.- W. B. Mannick secured lodging at the McCormick House Saturday night and about 4 o'clock ia the morning a room mate was awakened by his croaning. Mannick was uncon8cioi8 and a physician was called, but could no good, and he died at 7 o'clock. A. bottle partly filled. with laudanum was found near him and it is snppoaed to be a case of suicide. Letters of reconimendation from Crown Point, Ind., were found in his clothes. Parties there were notified and friends will be here today to care for the body. Mannick had but 10 cents in his possesaion. An inquest will bë held tonight.
