Cincinnati, May 23. - All the carpenters and millhands in Cincinnati, Covington and Newport have been ordered on a strike by a mass meeting atteuded by over 1,000 men. Only 40 votes opposed the strike. It is ordered because the boss carpen ters have refused to agree to pay 2.50 for eight hours or 3 for nine hours, with an hour léss on Saturdays. Nearly 5,000 raen are aiïected.
