Jackson, May 23.- A sericras accident occurred on the Jackson and Northern railroad, the narrovv gauge now running from the tile works to the clay pits. When about a miie north of the city, a train broke in two, the engine Beparating from the cars. Frank Walsh was ndine on the front end of the car from which the engine broke loose, and was caught in some way by the engine and dragged about 300 feet before it corld be stopped. His right leg was broken above the knee, the knee was thrown out of joint and a terrible gash was cut in the calf of hia leg.
