Port Hurón, May 81.- Yesterday being Decoration day, business was generally suspended. A procession under command of Marshal Karrer, headed by the K. O. T. M. band and the Port Hnron guard, uiarohed through the streets intending to hold exercises at Pine Grove park. The heavy rain made that proposition impracticable and the exercises were therefore held in the Baer block. Mayer O'Sullivan presided. The memorial address was made by L. A. Sherman and a memorial poem read by Cheeter Beuedict. Addresses were aíso made by Rev. MoManus and Thomas M. Crocker, aud musie was furnished by the Glee club and K. Ü. T. M. band."
