Memorial Exercise At Charlotte

Charlotte. May 81.- Despite tbreatrning and rainy weather all day. Memorial dav exercises here proved quite a suocess. Early in the afteruoon a column conipo&ed of the G. A. R. post, the Woinen'8 Relief Corps, the city fire department and the pupils of the schools, marched from the G. A. R. hall to Houcli's theater, where Jnstice Grant delivered a very able memorial address to a crovvded house. The line of ruarch was then resumed to Maple Hill cemetery, where the soldier' graves were decorated.
