Culdwatf.r, May 31.- Memorial day opened very cold and uncotnfortable, with occasional showers. _,otwithstanding this. the procession to Oak Grove cemetery, where the ceremonies took place, was an unnsually long one. Upward of 100 graves were covered over with beantiful flovvers, and then Hou. P. L. Palmer of Big Rapids delivernl une of the most powerful and patrioiii: addresses ever listened to in this city. Following this was music appropr'iate to the day, closing with the bonediction.
