The Demócrata of Michigan will meet in st;ilc ron vent ii ui in the city of Grand Kapids on the 8tli day of June, at 12 o'clock noon, for the parpóse oí nominatlng party candidatos for tlie followlng state otfires: Governor, Lleutenant-Governor, Secretary of State, Btate Treasurer, Auditor General, Attorney General, Oommlssioner of the State Land OfIVe, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Member of the State Board of Education, and alsotwocandidates for United States Senators; for the selection of a State Central Committce to serve tortlieensuinsrtwo years, and for tlie transactloa of such other business as may properly come before it. Accordlng to the rule adopted by the Democratie Suite Convention, held in Detroit in 18êO, and since followed. every county in the state is entitlcd toone delégate to the State t'onvention for each 500 votes cast for Governor at the last general election, and one ad(Utional delégate for a fraction of not less than 250 votes. But each county is entitled to at least t wo delega tes. AH deleaates must toe residents of the county they represent. The delegates from each conpressional district ure reijueNted to meet in caucus on the day of the convemion at quarters to be hen - after desiscnated by tlie Central Committee and select candidatos Tor recommendation to the convention as follows, to-wit: Two nn-mbers of the State Central Committee, one Vice-President of the Convention and oue member for each of the following eommittee.s of the Convention: Credentials, Permanent Organization and Order of Business and Resolutions. It will facilítate the woridng of the Committee on Credeutlals if the Secretary of each C'ouuty Convention wili promptly forwavd to the beadquartersof the State Central Committee in Detroit immediately after the convention, a full and accurate IKt of the delegates chosen to the State Convention.
