Flint. June 4.- No. 9, a Chicago and Grand Trunk passenger train, had a CJachload of imuiigrants. Everything went well until a couple of fellows asked a Germán to give hiin a bilí for a handful of silver dollars. The unsophisticated foreigner drew out his wallet, which contained nearly 300. At the sight of the money the confidence men grabbed the wallet, slipped to the rear end of the train and jumped as the train was slowing up preparatory to ruaking a stop here. A third nieinber of the gang who had charge of the trio's baggage. when he found his pais gone, juniped from the train as itwasleaving the city limits. Later in the night he boarded a freight train, but got off at Lapeer, where he was located and was arrested by Sheriff Garner and lodged in the county jail. The prisoner registered at the jail as Mas Levy of Buffalo. The inan who was robbed is Hernile Mathias.
