Office of the Board of Public Works, ) Ann Akbor, June O, 1894. j Regular Sessiou. Called to order by Pres. Keech. Roll called. Full board present. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. A communication trom S. Rosenthaler asking permission to remove a shade tree in front of his premises, on East Huron street. Permission was granted to remove said tree. Mr. Schuh moved that the bill of $111 for sinking well of C. G. Orcutt be recommended to the Common Council, and asked the allowance of the same at $60.00. Adopted as follows: Yeas- Messrs. Schuh, Keech and Clark. John Koch appeared befóte the Board and made a statement as to his bid made to the Board of Public Works May 16th, 1894, that he understood according to the specifications for the extensión of Culvert on Fountain I street, that the entire creek bed was to be naved. Mr. Schuh moved that the sum of $10,000 be asked f rom the Finance Committee as the amount necessary to be raised by tax for the Street Fund for the fiscal year, and $5,000 for the Bridge, Culvert and Crosswalk Fund. Adopted as follows: Yeas- Messrs. Schuh, Keech, and Clark. On motion of Mr. Keech, the City Engineer was ordered to make a plat of the City Cemetery as requested by the Common Council. Mr. Keech moved that the Street Commissioner take such steps as may be necessary to put the walk on Fifth avenue, along Clay Green's property, in a safe condition, under the advice of the City Attorney. Adopted as follows: Yeas - Messrs. Keech, Schuh and Clark. On motion the Board adjourned. Clerk.
